Ashley Koopmann is an artist and art educator whose eclectic creative journey began in rural Pennsylvania. Immersed in art, music, community service, and academics from a young age, she developed a profound appreciation for the "strange," fantastic, and surreal. Her work spans various mediums, exploring themes of nature, humanity, fiction, and personal experience.

Ashley earned both her B.S. in Art Education (summa cum laude) and M.Ed. in Art Education from Kutztown University. She has over a decade of experience teaching high school art and has exhibited her work at several local businesses and events. Beyond her artistic endeavors, Ashley offers limited commission opportunities, particularly favoring animal portraits, and works primarily with oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, charcoal, and colored pencil.

Her artistic style, often described as "whimsical realism," reflects her commitment to staying outside of any singular "box."
